This seagull was looking for a meal at a cafe in Darling Harbor, Sydney. We ended up having a meal there several days later, but he wasn't around to beg.
Another gull in Darling Harbor, looks to be none too happy. Australian gulls have silver wings, unlike gulls of other continents (so I am told).
This Spinifex Pigeon was photographed near our room at Ayres Rock Resort. The "crest" is much like a cockatiel's.
Can you ID this bird?
We photographed this bird at the Forest Aviary at Cleland - it's a lot like a pigeon but with more interesting coloring.
